The Haunts of Brisbane Presents: Sorry Sagas of South Brisbane Cemetery tour is a rare night-time adventure wending between the amazing monumental architecture of the amazing Victorian-era South Brisbane Cemetery. Held only twice a year under the cover of darkness, by torchlight amidst the mournful cries of the cemetery's curlews (and oft-times under close observance ofy the cemetery's possums & tawny frogmouths), prepare to discover some remarkable historical stories of the cemetery's residents with Liam Baker (creator of The Haunts of Brisbane), as he recounts true tales of:
- Wolston Park's missing body fiasco
- A Highgate Hill 'electro-bath' debacle
- The 1947 Camp Mountain rail disaster
- A last-minute funeral hijacking
- The notorious South Brisbane Cemetery morgue and flood urban legends
...and more!
This is a great way to safely experience South Brisbane Cemetery after dark, whilst visiting specific graves of the people involved across this extraordinary heritage-listed site.
